Question
How do I connect to the 6 GHz Wi-Fi network on my G54?
Answer
There is an issue with the interoperability of 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands that is due to the security setting.

6GHz only accepts WPA3 security protocol while 2.4GHz and 5GHz support WPA2 and WPA3.

There is a mode WPA2/WPA3 Transitional mode that is a mixed mode that is supposed to handle the different security settings across the bands for both WPA3 and WPA2 modes.

We determined that there is an incorrect setting when using this mode that does not allow for Apple iPhone 6E device to connect when using a single SSID mode (joint mode) with a common SSID and WPA3/WPA2 Transitional mode security settings.

We are working on a fix and hope to deploy it to our base shortly.

Meanwhile, we are issuing an update through our Community support and other support channels that to leverage 6GHz with Apple and other devices, we recommend using Split mode where each band has its own SSID name and Security mode.

In that case, you can set directly 6GHz to WPA3 security mode and 6E (6GHz) enabled devices connect to the 6GHz band directly.

We have confirmed this with Apple iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and with Samsung Galaxy devices.
