Question
How do I setup DDNS in the G54 Gateway?
Answer
The G54 supports the usage of Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS).  DDNS service provides the ability to access the G54 or other devices, such as a web server or video cameras, in a home network using a friendly name from a remote location.  Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) is disabled by default. This document describes how to set up Dynamic DNS.

Requirements:
  • A DDNS service that is set up from one of the following websites:
  • DDNS Account username, password, and DDNS hostname.
