The serial number can be located on the bottom panel of the unit and in the GUI (Graphical User Interface) of the SB6141.  This document includes the following sections:
Locating the Serial Number on the Bottom Panel
The serial number can be located on a white sticker on the bottom of the device. The serial number of the device is listed as the S/N number.

NOTE: If the SB6141 is connected to a router, it is recommended to disconnect the router and connect the SB6141 directly to a computer with an Ethernet cable.
- Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Enter http://192.168.100.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key. The Status page appears.
 - Click the Addresses link at the top. The Software Status page appears. The serial number will be displayed (as shown below).
