The label on the bottom of the SB6182 contains the Media Access Control (MAC) address, a unique, 48-bit value permanently saved in ROM at the factory to identify each Ethernet network device. To receive data service, the MAC address marked
HFC MAC ID will need to be provided to the Internet Service Provider. This document includes the following sections:

Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Enter http://192.168.100.1 into the address box. The Status page appears.

Click the Addresses link on the left-hand menu. The Addresses page appears.  The HFC MAC Address will be displayed (as shown below).
