Â When scanned with a QR reader app such as the ARRIS SURFboard Manager it allows for the configuring of the SURFboard router's home network quick and easy. Â With just a few steps the network settings can be customized from a smartphone or tablet. Â The ARRIS SURFboard Manager app is available through Google Play and App Store. Â Â NOTE:Â Other 3rd party QR readers are available through the Google Play or App Store.
Depending on the QR reader the QR code on the SBR-AC1200P can provide the following information:
- Encryption type
- WiFi Network Name (SSID)
- WiFi Passcode (Key)
- Default Username
- Default Password
- Model Number
- MAC Address
NOTE: Depending on the QR reader, a profile may be created for the WiFi Network Name (SSID) and WiFi Passcode (Key).  When the Wi-Fi is enabled on the smart device it will connect automatically.  Some feature may not be applicable on all 3rd party QR readers.   |
