In some cases the SBR-AC1750 router may need to be reset to its factory default state, and clear all of the previous settings. Â If the router's LAN IP address or admin password is lost, the only option is to reset the router. Â The router can be reset back to the factory default by pressing the Reset Switch and or by logging in the web management interface. Â This document describes how to reset the router to factory defaults by pressing the Reset Switch and or logging into the web management interface.
CAUTION: This process will clear all configurations and should be use as the last resort. Â Performing a Factory Reset will erase any configuration changes that have been made and requires the router to be reconfigured for Internet access.
Factory Reset With The Reset Switch
Carefully insert the tip of a pen or an unwound paperclip into the reset switch and press on to it.
Hold down the Reset switch for 5 -10 seconds and release it.
NOTE: To assure the gateway factory defaults, hold the reset switch for 5 -10 seconds.Â

Factory Reset in the Web Management
Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Â Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box and press the Enter key. Â The Login page appears.
NOTE: By default the LAN IP address is 192.168.0.1. Â If the default address has been changed, enter the custom address in the address box.

On the Login page: a. Â Enter password in the Password field. b. Â Click the Login button. The Home page appears.

Move the mouse-cursor over the Utilities tab and select the Factory Default sub-link.  The Utilities - Factory Default page appears.
On the Utilities - Factory Default page, click the Restore Defaults button.  The Message from webpage box appears.

On the Message from webpage box, click the OK button.  A 2nd Message from webpage box appears.

On the 2nd Message from webpage box. click the OK button.

The router will begin rebooting. Â Please allow a few minutes for the login page to return.Â
