SBR-AC1750: Restart Router

Question
How do I restart my SBR-AC1750? 
Answer
In some cases the SBR-AC1750 router may need to be restarted.  This document describes how to restart the router physically or by logging into the web management interface.

NOTE:  If restarting the router has no effect.  A Factory Reset may be needed and will erase any configuration changes that have been made and requires the router to be reconfigured for Internet access.  Please refer to Article # 15564 - SBR-AC1750: Factory Reset. 

Restarting by a Power Cycle 

  1. Unplug the SBR-AC1750 adapter from the AC wall outlet for approximately one minute.
  2. Plug the adapter back into the wall outlet.
  3. Wait until the Power, WAN, 2.4/5 Ghz, and Ethernet LEDs are solid ON. 

    NOTE: Check the cable modem or the service provider if the WAN LED fails to become solid.  

Restarting in the Web Management

  1. Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.  Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box and press the Enter key.  The Login page appears.

    NOTE: By default the LAN IP address is 192.168.0.1.  If the default address has been changed, enter the custom address in the address box.

  2. On the Login page:
    a.   Enter password in the Password field.
    b.   Click the Login button. The Home page appears.

  3. Move the mouse-cursor over the Utilities tab and select the Restart Router sub-link.  The Utilities - Restart Router page appears.

  4. On the Utilities - Restart Router page, click the Restart Router button.  The Message box appears.

  5. On the Message box, click the OK button.  The 2nd Message box appears.
  6. On the 2nd Message box. click the OK button.

  7. The router will begin rebooting.  Please allow a few minutes for the login page to return.
