The WPS (Wireless Protected Setup) feature allows wireless clients and the SBR-AC1750 to establish a wireless connection with a push of a button or by exchanging pin code. Â WPS and WPA2-PSK (Wireless Protected Access) wireless encryption are enabled by default in the SBR-AC1750. Â WPS automatically generates a new strong WPA key for the router and any WPS client devices on wireless network. Â
The SBR-AC1750 supports two types of WPS: PIN Entry and PBC (Push Button Connection). Â There are two methods to establish connection using WPS PIN Entry:
This document describes using one of two methods to establish a connection using WPS PIN Entry.
Requirements
- Wireless client must support WPS
- The client's WPS must support hardware or software Pin Entry
NOTE 1: Not all client wireless devices support WPS. Â Please refer to the wireless client's documentation.
NOTE 2: Older, non-WPS clients can still be added to the network by configuring them with WPA-PSK.

- Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Â Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box and press the Enter key. Â The Login page appears.
NOTE: By default the LAN IP address is 192.168.0.1. Â If the default address has been changed, enter the custom address in the address box.
 - On the Login page:
a. Â Enter password in the Password field.
b. Â Click the Login button. Â The Home page appears.
 - Move the mouse-cursor over the Basic tab and select the WPS Settings sub-link.  The Basic - WPS Settings page appears.
- On the Basic - WPS Settings page:
a.  Enrollee PIN Code - Locate the WPS client's pin and enter it.
NOTE: Refer to WPS client's manufacturer manual on how to locate the client's PIN.
b. Â Click the Enroll button.Â
NOTE: The exchange may last up to two minutes.
- On the Basic - WPS Settings page:
a. Â Â Locate the Device PIN Code as shown below.
b. Â Enter the pin into the WPS client.
