Answer | The SBR-AC1900P Parental Control feature provides the ability to restrict specific client device (e.g. computer, gaming console, tablet) from accessing specific Internet web sites. The web sites can be blocked for certain times of the day, certain days of the week, or at all times. The Parental Control rules are applied to the MAC address of the client device .  By default, the Parental Controls is disabled, which allows access to Internet web sites to all of the devices at all times.  This document describes how to setup Parental Control rule to restrict access to a specific website.Â

Requirement
To block only one device from accessing a website, the MAC address of that device will need to be entered into the MAC Address settings.Â

Creating a Website Restriction Entry
- Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Â Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key. Â The Login page will appear.
- On the Login page, enter admin in the Username field.
- Enter password in the Password field.
- Click the Login button. Â The Home page will appear.
 - Move the mouse-cursor over Basic on the top menu, and click the DHCP link from the drop-down submenu.  The Basic - DHCP page will appear.
 - Locate and copy the client's MAC Address under Attached Client List section to be used for Parental Control setup​.
 - Move the mouse-cursor over Basic on the top menu, and click the Time Zone link from the drop-down submenu.  The Basic - Time Zone page will appear.
 - On the Basic - Time Zone page, click the drop-down tab and select the current time zone.
- Select Yes for Automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time.
- Click the Apply button.
 - Move the mouse-cursor over Firewall on the top menu, and click the Parental Control link from the drop-down submenu.  The Firewall - Parental Control page will appear.
 - On the Firewall - Parental Controls page, click the Create drop-down tab and select Block URL.  The Block URL page will appear.
 - On the Block URL page, enter a description of the client device in the Description field.
- Enter the MAC Address of the client device to block in the MAC Address field.
- Enter the website to be blocked (e.g. blockme.com).
NOTE: For adding multiple URLs use a semicolon and a space after each URL (e.g. blockme.com; blockURL.com).  The limitation is 150 character.  - Select EveryDay to block Internet access every day of the week, or select the desired day(s) to block.
- Select All day to block Internet access all the time or enter the specific period of time into the Start and End fields.
NOTE:  Hours (hour) and Minutes (min) must be entered as two digits (e.g. 07, 12).  - Click the Enabled drop-down menu, and select On.
- Click the Apply button.
 - The Firewall - Parental Controls page will now appear, and will display a filtering entry.
NOTE 1: Repeat steps 13 - 20 for any additional entry. NOTE 2: For the settings to take effect, the web browser(s) on the device(s) will need to be closed and reopened.

Removing a Website Restriction Entry
- Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Â Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key. Â The Login page will appear.
- On the Login page, enter admin in the Username field.
- Enter password in the Password field.
- Click the Login button. Â The Home page will appear.
 - On the Home page, click on Parental Controls. The Firewall - Parental Controls page will appear.
 - On the Firewall - Parental Controls page, find the desired entry to remove, and click the Remove button.
NOTE:Â For the settings to take effect, the web browser(s) on the device(s) will need to be closed and re-opened.
