SBX-1000P allows a connection between more than one G.hn device and can give Internet connectivity when connected.  ARRIS recommends to use push button pairing or manually changing the domain name or password for security protection.  If one G.hn device is configured manually, any subsequent devices will need to use the same credentials. Â
This document describes how to change the Domain Name and the Pairing Password on the SBX-1000P.Â
Pairing Considerations:
- Same Domain Name and Pairing Passwords must be used for installing additional G.hn devices in the home network.Â
- Unique Names and Password can help with security.Â
NOTE: If lost, a factory reset to the SBX-1000P is required to access the web manager with default admin login credentials.  For instructions on performing factory reset, please refer to Article # 16136 - SBX-1000P: Factory Reset. Â
