Answer | NOTE: The SBX-AC1200P operates as a wireless extender out of the box. The LAN Subnet feature is setup in the primary router that manages the home network. If the SBX-AC1200P is operating as a wireless router, proceed with the instructions below to setup the LAN Subnet.
The SBX-AC1200P also includes configurable options for the Local Area Network (LAN). Â The router's LAN IP Address and DHCP range can be configured and modified to suit the needs of the network. Â By default, the LAN IP address of the SBX-AC1200P is 192.168.0.1. Â This document contains the following sections:
NOTE 1: If the LAN IP address is modified to be in a different subnet (e.g. 192.168.8.1), the SBX-AC1200P will automatically change the DHCP range to use addresses in that subnet.  NOTE 2: The subnet mask of the SBX-AC1200P (255.255.255.0) cannot be modified.Â
