Change the Wi-Fi Network Name and Password
- Tap the My Network icon at the bottom of the screen.
 - Tap the Network Management box.
 - Tap the Main Wi-Fi Network + button to expand the card.
 - Tap the 5GHz or 2.4GHz radio band.
NOTE: By default, the radio band tabs are unavailable on the G54 because the G54 broadcasts one Wi-Fi network name (SSID) simultaneously over the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz (High), 5 GHz (Low), and 6 GHz radio bands.  - Tap the Pencil icon to make edits.
 - On the Edit Home Network, enter a new Wi-Fi network name in the Network Name (SSID) field.
 - Enter a new Wi-Fi password in the Password field. (The password needs to be 8 to 63 characters long. Use upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols for better security.)Â
 - Tap the Security Type drop-down menu to select the security mode.
- WPA2-PSK (AES) -Â Wi-Fi Protected Access version 2 with Pre-Shared Key.
- WPA/WPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES) -Â Combination Wi-Fi Protected Access version 2 with Pre-Shared Key and Wi-Fi Protected Access with Pre-Shared Key. Â
- WPA3 Personal (AES) - Wi-Fi Protected Access version 3 with personal security key (Highest level of security).
- WPA2/WPA3 Mixed Personal (AES) - Combination of Wi-Fi Protected Access versions 2 and 3 with personal security key.Â
NOTE: WPA3 Personal (AES) and WPA2/WPA3 Mixed Personal (AES) Security Type are only available on the G34, G36, and G54 gateways.
- Tap the Save Changes button.
CAUTION: When changing the Wi-Fi network name and password, Wi-Fi clients in the network will lose wireless connection and will need to connect to the new SSID with the new Wi-Fi password.  - The Network screen will return. Connect the Wi-Fi clients to the new SSID with the new Wi-Fi password.
 - Tap the other radio band and repeat steps 4 - 8 to change the Wi-Fi Name and Password.
