Question

Where can I locate the serial number for my SURFboard device?

Answer

NOTE: This article applies SURFboard Cable Modems (S33, S34, SB6121, SB6141, SB6183, SB6190, SB8200, SBV3202, SBV2402, T25), SURFboard Wi-Fi Cable Modems (G34, G36, G54, SBG10, SBG6950AC2, SBG7400AC2, SBG7580-AC, SBG7600AC2, SBG8300), and SURFboard Extenders (W6B, W6U).

The serial number can be located on the bottom white sticker of the SURFboard device and in the SURFboard Central app.

Locate the Serial Number on the About Screen

Tap the Menu bar link on the top-left screen.
Tap the About button.
The serial number is displayed in the Serial Number field for Modems and Gateways. For Extenders, the serial number is displayed in the Main Access Point S/N and Satellite S/N fields.
