Question

How do I setup Who's Home in my mAX router?

Answer

NOTE: This article applies to the mAX W21, W121, W122 Express, W30, W130, W31, and W133 Routers.

The Who’s Home feature monitors the dedicated device for each family member that travels with them. Get notified when the device connects or disconnects from the home network.

Devices that are set up in Who's Home can be used with the Connected Life feature to integrate apps, devices, and services to work together.

Who's Home Setup

Tap the My Experiences box or bottom-right icon.
Tap the Who's Home box.
Tab the Add Household Member box.

NOTE: This screen only appears upon first time accessing the Who's Home.
Enter a name in the Household Member Name field, and then tap the Continue button.
Tap the device symbol of the dedicated device, and then tap the device name. Tap the Save button.

NOTE: Some client devices may display the Device name, making it difficult to identify the device. It is recommended to update the device name. For detailed instructions to update the device's name, click here.
The created household member profile name is displayed under the Who's In / Out section. Tap the ( + ) icon and repeat steps 4 - 5 to create additional household members.

NOTE: Tap the 3 dots icon next to the household member name to change the name, change the device, or remove the member.
