Answer![](/consumers/img/s.gif) | The SURFboard Parental Control feature provides the ability to create a rule to restrict specific client devices (e.g. computer, gaming console, tablet) from accessing specific Internet web sites. Â The web sites can be blocked for certain times of the day, certain days of the week, or at all times. Â The rule created in the SURFboard Manager App will automatically be pushed to the SURFboard Wi-Fi product. Â By default, the Parental Controls feature is disabled in the SURFboard Wi-Fi products. Â This document describes how to use the ARRIS SURFboard Manager app to restrict one device from accessing a specific website at a specific time of day, and how to remove that restriction.
NOTE: When using the SURFboard Manager app to configure the SBG6950AC2, SBG7400AC2, or SBG7580-AC, the Parental Controls feature is configured using the McAfee® Secure Home Internet app.  The McAfee® Secure Home Internet app for Android is available on the Google Play Store at no charge.
