Answer | The SURFboard Parental Controls feature provides the ability to restrict client devices (e.g. computer, gaming console, tablet) from accessing specific Internet web sites based on URLs or keywords. The web sites can be blocked for certain times of the day, certain days of the week, or at all times.  The Parental Controls feature also uses the Router Time located within Utilities - System Settings of the Web Manager. Two client devices can be excluded from Parental Controls as trusted devices. By default, the Parental Controls is disabled, which allows access to Internet web sites to all of the devices at all times. This document describes how to setup the Parental Control Keyword and Website Filtering.  NOTE: The Parental Control Keyword and Website filtering is available on the SBG10. When using the SURFboard Manager app to configure the SBG7600AC2, SBG6950AC2, SBG7400AC2, and or SBG7580-AC, Parental Controls are configured using the McAfee® Secure Home Internet (SHI) app. The Parental icon is replaced by the McAfee® SHI icon, and tapping the icon will open the McAfee® SHI app.Keyword and Website Filtering Setup
