How do I set up Windows VISTA to obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP)?
Answer

To set your PC to obtain an IP address automatically, (DHCP) follow these steps:

1.Bring up CONTROL PANEL then select Network & Sharing

2.You will see all your available networks (Wired & Wireless)

Right click on the desired available network and select PROPERTIES

Select IPv4 and then properties. This will bring up the screen in the right portion of the image below
