How do I view the Logs in my TM822G/CT & TM822R Modem?
The Logs display the current status of the modem in chronological order, that are used by the cable modem technician.  There are four types of field description:
  • Date/Time - Indicates the date and time the event occurred.
  • Event ID - Indicates the event ID.
  • Event Level - Indicates the level of importance of the event.
  • Description - Provides a brief definition of the event.
This document describes how to view the System Event Logs.

To View the System Event Logs

NOTE: If the TM822 is connected to a router, it is recommended to disconnect the router and connect the T822 directly to a computer with an Ethernet cable.
  1. Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.  Enter into the address box.  The Status page appears.

  2. Click the Logs link on the left-hand menu.  The Logs page appears.
