TM822G/NA: Locating the MAC Address

Where can I find the MAC address on my TM822 modem?

When provisioning the modem, the Cable service provider may request the MAC address of the modem.  The label on the bottom of the TM822 contains the Media Access Control (MAC) address, a unique, 48-bit value permanently saved in ROM at the factory to identify each Ethernet network device.  To receive data service, the MAC address marked CMAC will need to be provided to the Internet Service Provider.  This document includes the following sections:

Locating the MAC Address on the Bottom Panel

The MAC Address can be located on a white sticker on the bottom of the device.

1. Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.  Enter http://192.168.100.1 into the address box. The Status page appears.  The MAC Address will be displayed (as shown below).
