SURFboard Cable Modems are fully compatible with VoIP (Voice Over IP) devices, and no additional configuration for SURFboard Cable Modems is required.
NOTE: This document assumes that the VoIP device is directly connected to the Ethernet port of the cable modem.  If the VoIP device is directly connected to a router, please contact the router manufacturer for information regarding using the VoIP device with the router.
