Answer | A second Wi-Fi Network can be created to broadcast over 6GHz band.  The secondary Wi-Fi Network is disabled by default in the Web Manager, and the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password can be customized. It is recommended to use a unique name for the secondary network.Â
Only Wi-Fi 6E capable devices can connect to the SSID over 6GHz band. They are able to access the home network when connected to the secondary Wi-Fi network.Secondary Wi-Fi Network SetupThe following steps must be performed on a laptop or mobile device that is connected to the home network.
- Launch a web browser and enter https://w6u.local/ into the address box, and press the Enter key.
 - A security or private risk alert may appear on the web browser advising users to proceed with caution when accessing the Web Manager. There is no risk in proceeding to the Web Manager. For instructions to by-pass the alert screen, refer to article # 18181 - Alert Message for Web Manager Access.
NOTE: The Setup Administration page will appear if this is the first time accessing the Web Manager. For assistance, refer to article # 19243 - W6U: Web Manager First Time Login.  - Enter the custom username in the Username field and the custom password into the Password field.
 - Click the Login button. The Network Status page will appear.
 - Click the Wireless Settings link in the left-hand menu.
 - Click the Index drop-down menu and select Secondary Network.
 - Click the SSID Status drop-down menu and select Enabled.
 - Enter a new wireless network name in the SSID Name field. The name needs to be 1 to 32 alphanumeric characters long.
 - Click the Security Mode drop-down menu and select WPA3(AES).
 - Enter a new wireless password in the Password field. The password needs to be 8 to 63 characters long.
 - Click the Submit button to apply the new settings. Â
