Answer![](/consumers/img/s.gif) | This document describes how to configure Windows 11 to establish a wireless connection with a Wi-Fi cable modem or router.
Requirements:
- Network Name (SSID) and Wi-Fi Security Key: The default network name and Wi-Fi security key is listed on the bottom label of the Wi-Fi cable modem or router.
- Custom Network Name (SSID) and Wi-Fi Security Key: The custom network name and Wi-Fi security key is in the mobile app or the Web Manager of the Wi-Fi cable modem or router.
Establish Wireless Connection Â
- Gather the Network Name and Wi-Fi Security Key of the Wi-Fi cable modem or router.
 - Click on the wireless globe icon on the lower right corner of the desktop. Â
