How do I verify my IP address in Windows 7?

The following steps will guide how to verify the computer's IP Address.

1. On the Windows 7 Desktop, click the Start button to display the Start Menu.
2. Click the All Programs link.
   
   
    
3. Click the Accessories link.
   
   
    
4. Click the Command Prompt link.
   
   
    
5. The Command Prompt windows appears. Type ipconfig and press Enter.
   
   
    
6.  The IP Configuration is displayed, listing the IPv4 Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway for the computer.
   
   
    
7. Type exit and press Enter to return to Windows.
