Question

How do I see the Device Details for connected clients on the SURFboard Central™ App?

Answer

NOTE: This article applies to the mAX WC4S, WC4T, W21, W121, W122 Express, W30, W130, W31, W133, W61, and the W161 Routers.

The SURFboard Central app displays network information (i.e., connection status, IP address, and MAC address) for each client device connected to the Home network. This document describes how to view the connected device information.

Device Details

Tap the My Devices box on the Home screen to see the list of devices.
Tap the + button to expand the card to see the device's network information.

NOTE 1: Pull-down the screen to refresh the connected client device list.

NOTE 2: To edit the device name and Type, tap the pencil icon.
- Mbps - Client device download and upload connection speed.
- IP Address - Client device IP Address.
- Mac Address - Client device MAC Address.
- Wireless Channel - Hardwired client devices will display Auto and Wi-Fi clients display the current Channel Number.
- Online - Client device is powered on and connected to the home network.
