Answer | NOTE:Â This article applies to the mAX W21, W121, W122 Express, W30, W130, W31, W133, W61, and the W161 Routers.
IPv6 is enabled by default in the mAX router which allows the client devices to receive IPv6 addresses from the service provider. For IPv6 to work, the following should also provide support for the IPv6 functionality:
- Internet service provider must provide both IPv4 and IPv6 IP addresses to the mAX Router.
- The client devices as well as the applications and operating system on the client devices must have the support for IPv6.Â
This document describes how to enable and disable IPv6 in the mAX router.
How to Enable or Disable IPv6
- Tap the My Network icon on the bottom of the screen.Â
 - Tap the Network Management box.
 - Tap the Network Settings + button to expand the card, then tap the General Settings.
 - To Enable IPv6 swipe the button right, to disable it swipe the button left.
 - On the IPv6 Enable pop-up box tap, tap the OK button. The mAX router will began to reboot and the network will be unavailable until connection is restored.Â
