mAX Routers: Locating the Serial Number

Question

Where can I locate the serial number for my mAX Router?

Answer

NOTE: This article applies to the mAX WC4S, WC4T, W21, W121, W122 Express, W30, W130, W31, W133, W61, and the W161 Routers.

The serial number can be located in the SURFboard Central app and on the bottom white sticker of the device. This document includes the following sections:

Locate the Serial Number in the SURFboard Central App

Tap the My Network icon on the bottom of the screen.
Tap the mAX Router icon.

NOTE: The main mAX Router is in the middle and the Satellites will be on the left or right side.
Scroll down and tap the Details + button to expand the card. The serial number is displayed under the Serial No. field.

NOTE: Repeat step 2 - 3 to locate the serial number for additional mAX devices.

Locate the Serial Number on the Bottom White Sticker

The serial number can be located on a white sticker on the bottom of the device labeled as S/N.
