NOTE:Â This article applies to the mAX W21, W121, W122 Express, W30, W130, W31, W133, W61, and the W161 Routers.
The mAX Router also includes configurable options for the Local Area Network (LAN). Â The router's LAN IP Address and DHCP range can be configured and modified to suit the needs of the network. Â By default, the LAN IP address of the mAX Routers is 192.168.7.1. Â This document describes how to change the Router's IP Address and the DHCP Range.

Change Router's IP Address
- Tap the My Network icon at the bottom of the screen.
 - Tap the Network Management box.
 - Tap on the + button on the Network Settings box to expand the card, then tap the LAN Settings link.
 - Tap on the LAN Subnet and DHCP Range Configuration link.
 - To configure the router's IP Address, select from the 3 options below Configure Subnet.
 - Tap the numbers in purple to set the router's LAN IP address.
NOTE: In this example, the third number is set to 50 changing the router's LAN IP address to 192.168.50.1. The LAN IP address will always end with 1 and cannot be customized. Â
 - It is recommended to leave the DHCP range at default from 100 - 254, this allows IP addresses from 2 - 99 available for IP reservations. Â
NOTE: The DHCP Range can be extended from 2 - 254 if needed.Â
 - Once all settings have been configured, tap the Save Changes button.Â
 - Tap OK on the Alert pop-up box. During this time the network may be unavailable while the settings apply. Any port forwarding rules or reserved IP addresses may need to be updated.
