Question
How do I setup the mAX Router to my existing DSL Internet service?
Answer
The SURFboard Central app is required to onboard the mAX router during first-time installation and to manage the home network.  The username and password for PPPoE or PPPoA connection must be configured in the DSL modem for authentication with the DSL service provider to access the Internet.  This document describes how to install the mAX router with the DSL modem or Wi-Fi router.

The SURFboard Central app is available on both the App Store and Google Play Store at no charge.

  • Mobile device must have Internet access through the home network, mobile data, or ISP Hotspots.
