This document describes the function of the front and back panel LED lights on the G54.
Front Panel
LED Behavior
LED Status Description
Amber (Solid)
Power is connected.
Amber (Blinking)
Firmware download.
Green (Blinking)
Acquiring downstream/upstream connection.
Green (Solid)
Online status in DOCSIS 3.0 mode.
Blue (Solid)
Online status in DOCSIS 3.1 mode.
Blueand Green (Alternating colors)
Error mode. Check the power and cable connections. A restart may be required.
Light Blue (Blinking)
WAN over Ethernet mode, cable is unplugged, or no Internet.
Light Blue (Solid)
WAN over Ethernet mode, the Internet is connected.
White (Flashing five times)
Series of white flashes while holding down the reset PIN indicates a factory reset has been initiated.

Four one-gigabit Ethernet ports for RJ-45 network cable connections:
Green: LED is ON - Indicates a data transfer rate of one gigabit per second
Green: LED is blinking - Indicates data traffic is in progress
Amber: LED is ON - Indicates a data transfer rate of less than one gigabit per second
Amber: LED is blinking - Indicates data traffic is in progress
10G Port
One 10-gigabit Ethernet port for RJ-45 network cable connection: Note: CAT6 Ethernet cable and 10G Ethernet capable device is required to achieve Ethernet connection up to 10Gbps.
Green: LED is ON - Indicates a data transfer rate of 10Gbps per second
Green: LED is blinking - Indicates data traffic is in progress
Amber: LED is ON - Indicates a data transfer rate of less than 10Gbps per second
