Question
What do the lights (LEDs) on my SURFboard cable modem mean?
Answer

The SURFboard family of cable modems provide indicator lights (LEDs) that provide useful information when troubleshooting connectivity issues.  The following diagram shows the layout of the LEDs and what they indicate.

NOTE: The SB5102 does not support the Standby switch.  Disregard any reference to this switch or the corresponding LED for this model.
