Does my S33/S34 cable modem support Link Aggregation (LAC)?
Answer
The S33/S34 cable modem does not support Link Aggregation.  The S33/S34 includes a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port to support speeds greater than 1Gbps.

What is Link Aggregation (LAC)?
Ethernet Link Aggregation (LAC) combines multiple wired connections (i.e., using two LAN Gigabit Ethernet ports) in parallel to increase throughput beyond what a single connection could sustain.  An important reason for using link aggregation is to provide redundancy in case one of the individual Ethernet ports fails.  This allows client devices (e.g., NAS, Managed network switch, or router) with Ethernet Link Aggregation support to achieve bandwidth up to 2Gbps for wired connections.
