When attempting to access the SBR-AC1200P Web Manager for the first time, the SBR-AC1200P prompts for an admin username and password. Â By default, the username is admin, and the password is password. Â For network security purposes, ARRIS recommends changing the router default admin user name and password after logging onto the SBR-AC1200P for the first time. Â This document describes how to change the default admin username and password.
Admin Login Consideration:
- Usernames and passwords are case sensitive.
 - Passwords can contain special characters.
 - Backup changes made to the SBR-AC1200P with the default admin login.  Please refer to Article # 16552 - SBR-AC1200P: Configuration Backup and Restore Tool.Â
 - Keep a record of the new admin username and password.  If they are lost, reset to the factory default settings is required to access the SBR-AC1200P's web manager with default admin login credentials.  Please refer to Article # 16557 - SBR-AC1200P: Factory Reset.Â
