Can I use a VPN client with the TG862 gateway?

PPTP VPN clients and IPsec VPN clients can connect to a remote VPN connection through the TG862, as PPTP Passthrough and IPsec Passthrough are enabled in the TG862.

NOTE: The TG862 cannot be configured to be a VPN endpoint.

These cannot be disabled in the TG862, but they can be blocked by configuring the Firewall or Parental Control options to do so.  For more information on blocking VPN passthrough, refer to the following documentation:
