Question

How do I set up a notification when a household member enters or exits the house?

Answer

NOTE: This article applies to the mAX W21, W121, W122 Express, W30, W130, W31, and W133 Routers.

Set up notification to receive alert for client devices listed in Who's Home. Alerts are sent to the Surfboard Central app when the client devices connect or disconnect from the home network.

Notification Setup

Tap the My Experiences box or bottom-right icon.
Tap the Who's Home box.
Tap the Notify Me When link.
Tap the ( + ) icon to add a notification.
Under the Notify me when section, tap the household member's name, and then tap one of the On the event of options.
Scroll up to set a Time Schedule.
Under the Select Schedule section, leave at default Every Day or tap Custom to select the day/days to be notified.
Tap the At a time link, scroll to the time to be notified, and then tap the Done button.
Leave the Tolerance ( +/-) at default 10 min or tap 20 min, and or 30 min.
Tap the Save button.
Under the Notify Me When section, the time schedule to be notified is displayed. Tap the back button.
To add an additional notification, repeat steps 3 - 10.
