Question
What client devices support Wi-Fi 6E?
Answer
SURFboard Extenders (W6B Gaming Kit, W6U Wi-Fi 6E Extender) only broadcast the Wi-Fi network over the 6 GHz Wi-Fi band for faster wireless speed and lower latencies.  Wi-Fi 6E capable devices can only connect to the W6B/W6U's Wi-Fi network.  Wi-Fi 6 and older devices are not compatible.

Here is a list of common Wi-Fi 6E capable client devices:
  • Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra , S22 Ultra, and S22+
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra
  • Laptop with Intel 11th generation CPU with Intel AX210/AX211 Wi-Fi card running Windows 11
  • Laptop with Intel 12th generation CPU with Intel AX210/AX211 Wi-Fi card running Windows 11
There are other Wi-Fi 6E capable devices in the market that are not on this list, check with the manual to confirm.  All Apple devices do not support Wi-Fi 6E at this time.
